Count down

One week to go
before I leave the States.
For good.

I am already worried about
what to do
the day after I return to KL.
No more labs,
no more Netflix,
no more ...
Davis :(

The only immediate solace
I can hope for
are the delicious durian puffs in Uptown
and meeting up with my CH friends.

Well, it will be a weekend
right after I get home,
and I will see my niece for the first time,
hopefully that helps.

What I learned however
is that being basked in new found joy
doesn't wash away the lingering sadness.

Davis, I shall miss you terribly.

  1. i felt the same way before i left for Malaysia a few months ago...and reality didn't kick in till a few weeks after i was back in Malaysia for good.

it made me a little sad... no more pandora music to listen to, no more redbox rent-a-dvd for $1, no more fuji sushi buffet. you'd smile at random people and they'd give you weird paranoid looks.

but, it gets better after a while :D have a good flight!

  2. Netflix beats Redbox DVD,
luckily I never got addicted to the wonderful thing called Pandora,
and I never understood you guys' fascination with Fuji :).
I smiled at people in KL and I think they smiled back...or I could be hallucinating.

hopefully a few weeks after I get home, I can ciao to Singapore to join my best friends from high school for a Male-Bonding+Girlfriends-Gossiping+Super-Extended-Slumber-Party+Compensatory-KTV.

wow, I feel much better already :)

How are you doing in Malaysia anyway? Are you in Taiping now?

  3. This is going to be a dreadful moment for us. When are you leaving, time, which airport? Giving so many hormones raging inside my body, I might cry when bidding you a farewell. Just a heads up!

  4. Our flight is 1.15am, 10/31, so kena sampai SFO lewat malam this Saturday lah.
We will either rent a car one-way to SFO or I will take Davis Airporter.

Hahaha...please refrain from crying. If anybody cries, I may not cry on the spot but I will cry later in the plane, and that will make it harder for me :)
